Gorgeous, Christine! Truth be told, I’d read a book with your name on it regardless of the cover…and the hummingbird is a great image upon which to reflect!

Christine, this is just lovely…very eye catching. The flower is exquisite…definitely an eye catcher and I can’t wait to have it in my hands!

Well, that about covers it! Now that we have the traditional initial Jeff Draine groaner pun out of the way–I can simply say BEAUTIFUL. I can’t wait to share this with friends on similar journeys. The hummingbird for me is usually either a surprize visitor to your garden, or a regular–in either case, I can’t help but stop and watch. This smallest and busiest of creates opens a space for a moment of contemplation.

Agreed that I would read anything with your name on it as well (!), however I also find the cover very appealing. The detail in the flower and bird are enhanced by the simplicity of the font and clean look of the design. It kind of reminds me of one of those books I used to share with my kids when they were smaller… the DK Eyewitness series I believe. They had such compelling, exquisite photos that it said a lot for the quality of the content. And the image also gives a clue that the “ordinary” is anything but that… Wonderful design.

Very enticing! The design itself is exquisitely balanced, and I love the seeking metaphor of the hummingbird and the flower – layered and nuanced meanings. And then of course, there’s the author, whose writing I love to read! 🙂

I love the way the images are angled/ positioned with the title…how the hummingbird points to the words Finding God. The simplicity yet detail in design is striking. The layout and images help my eyes catch the title, which makes me compelled to open this book. Great job!

I love the simplicity and beauty of it. I agree with others that Finding God is wonderfully placed between the hummingbird and the flower.
